On Tuesday, April 15, the boys lacrosse team hosted Granville for its first game of the week. The Vikings and Aces were neck and neck to start the game with quarter one ending 2-2. Both teams exchanged goals, but Granville pulled ahead by one goal going into halftime. Academy began losing steam in the second half and had trouble capitalizing on its offensive opportunities. The Aces outscored them 2-1 in quarter three and 3-1 in quarter four. This sloppy performance from the Vikings earned them a 7-11 loss.
Looking to redeem themselves, the boys travelled to Buckeye Valley on Thursday, April, 17. Academy did not disappoint as the Vikings shutout the Barons 17-0.
The boys look to carry this momentum into next week as they host Licking Valley on Tuesday, April 22, and New Albany on Thursday, April 24.
