Following a strong first week, the boys tennis team continued with a 5-0 clean sweep against Grandview on Tuesday, April 8. Jacob K. for first singles and duo Rowen L. and Ian C. for first doubles both earned 6-1, 6-0 victories. Similarly, Bennett K. won 6-1, 6-1 in second singles, as did Saurav M. for third singles (6-3, 6-0). Second doubles team Sujay B. and Jayden T. finished with 6-0, 6-0. 

On Saturday, the Vikings tallied up their third consecutive win against Hawken with a tight 3-2. Lucas X. dominated first singles with 6-1, 6-2. Second and third singles were less fortunate, however, with Jacob and Bennett losing 6-7, 4-6 and 1-6, 0-6. Luckily, first doubles team Rowen and Ian remained undefeated, winning 6-2, 6-3, and second doubles team, Sujay and Jayden, secured the victory with a 6-1, 6-4.

The Vikes have a busy week coming up with matches on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday, as well as their away opener at Worthington Christian on Tuesday, April 15.
