Girls Lacrosse Begins Season

Girls lacrosse began their season this week, losing to Pickerington Central and Western Reserve, and beating Buckeye Valley. This comes after the annual spring break trip when they went 2-0.

The Vikes began the week welcoming Pick Central to Hondros in what ended ina close matchup, with the Tigers edging the Vikings 11-10. Kyndall S. led the Vikes in scoring with four goals, followed by Caroline M. with two.

The Vikes were back in action the following day at Buckeye Valley and won handily, outscoring the Barons 19-3. Katie N. and Bebe S. led in scoring, each tallying a hat trick. Nine different players scored a goal in this epic rout.

The Vikings concluded their week on Saturday, April 5, traveling to take on Western Reserve Academy. It was a tight contest, but the Vikes fell in overtime 7-6.

The team will travel to Dublin Coffman on Thursday, April 10, and conclude the week on Saturday, April 12, at home against Mariemont.
