Wrestling ended its season on Saturday, February 22, at the playoff sectionals. Wrestlers need five wins at this event to move to states.

Baron D. in the 150 weight class, Joseph G. in 120, and Josh L. in the 215 failed to win any matches. Henry S. lost his first match but won his double elimination . Santiago P. won a pair of matches in the 144 weight class but ultimately lost, which  means no Academy wrestlers will compete at states. This is a long way from where wrestling was in previous years with multiple state qualifiers under Coach Buckey. Much improvement is needed in the program to bring the Academy wrestling program back to where it was.
