 The boys swim team competed in sectionals at home on February 8 and took home the victory tallying 198 points which bested Granville’s 183, Wellington’s 124, Watterson’s 109, and St. Francis Desales’ 108 respectively. 

Freshman Andy L. placed second overall scoring 29 points for himself and the team. He gathered three golds, one silver, and had a NISCA score of 110.0. Sophomore William D. placed seventh overall with 25 points, gaining three golds. And freshman Ethan L. earned 24 points with one gold and two bronzes. Andy L. also had the fifth best performance overall with a 21:93 in the 50 Y free, which gave him a NISCA score of 111. 

The squad will be back on Friday, February 14,  as they compete in the Central, East, and Southeast Championship for a chance to go to states.
