On Saturday, February 8, the girls swim team travelled to Columbus School for Girls to compete in the Division 2 Sectional Championship meet. Lillian B. and Olivia L. led with podium finishes in multiple events. Lillian earned first in the 200-yd IM with a time of 2:14.50 and swam a 1:01.06 in the 100-yd butterfly, earning bronze. Olivia captured 3rd-place finishes in the 50-yd and 100-yd freestyle. The relay teams also found success with the 200-yd freestyle relay, winning gold with a time of 1:41.03 and the 400-yd freestyle relay team swam a 3:42.44, taking home silver..

The Vikings performance kept its season alive. Nine individual swimmers and 3 relay teams head to districts on Friday, February 14, at Ohio University.
