The Vikings bested Gahanna, once in the regular season and now in the postseason. Sophomore trio Landon L., Jake L., and Owen L. all slipped shots past the Lions keeper while Sydney L. stayed strong against a fierce Gahanna attack to give the Maroon and Gray a 3-1 victory.

Next was St. Xavier, the #1 seed, who struck immediately and got on the board in under a minute. Another St. Xavier goal eight minutes later would put the Vikings down 2-0. For his first goal of the season, Brady M. snuck one past the X-men goalie before another X-men goal. Jake L. would be the last to score in the first period to put the Vikings in a 3-2 disadvantage. The second period was full of Sydney L’s saves with the exception of two lucky rebounds. The X-men led 5-2 going into the final, then slapped another goal past Sydney. Brady M. would find the netting once more for his second career goal. This would not be the final score as the X-men would light the lamp with 46 seconds left in the game. The Vikings season ends with a 7-3 final.
