On Saturday, February 1, Academy’s wrestling squad headed to Franklin Heights for the CBL tournament. Joseph G. faced off against Bexley, Grandview Heights, and Whitehall-Yearling in the 120. Joseph G. was overcome in all, going winless and taking fourth place. Josh L. showed improvement, going 2-2 and taking third place in the 215 weight class. Josh’s triumphs include wins over a freshman from Buckeye Valley and a sophomore from Franklin Heights. Although Whitehall-Yearling won the CBL last year, it was a surprise to many to see them win back-to-back CBL championships.

On Wednesday, February 5, Academy will host a meet. This marks the last event and end of the regular season for Academy.
