On Friday, January 10, the girls swim team welcomed Bexley, Fairbanks, and Olentangy Orange to its natatorium. The Vikes crushed the Panthers 124-16 and dominated against the Pioneers, beating them by 34. Academy couldn’t capitalize against the Lions, however, losing 65-145. Junior Maddie E. led the team with a score of 9, and senior Olivia L. trailed one point behind, with a score of 8. Lillian B., Maddie E., Olivia L., and Morgan S. set the record for the 400 Y free relay with a time of 3:14.93.

The Vikings had a quick turn around as they hosted Newark Catholic and St. Francis DeSales on Saturday for Senior Night. The girls honored its 10 seniors (Lillian B., Kate C., Molly F., Grace H., Katie J., Christina L.,Olivia L., Amelia N., Aliya S., Clara S.) prior to the start of the meet. 

The Vikings are back in action on Thursday, January 16, as they host Wellington and Bishop Hartley for a tri-meet.
