Carry-On, released to Netflix on December 13, 2024, is an action thriller movie directed by Jaume Collet-Serra that I watched during Winter Break. The story is about Ethan Kopek, a young TSA agent at Los Angeles International Airport, who becomes involved in a perilous situation when a mysterious traveler blackmails him into allowing a package containing Novichok, a lethal and incurable nerve agent, onto a Christmas Eve flight. The plot centers on Ethan’s dilemma on whether to comply with the blackmailer’s demands and save the life of his girlfriend, Nora, or prevent a catastrophic attack on a full plane of innocent people. 

Upon its release, Carry-On became Netflix’s most-watched film of 2024, with over 97 million views in 10 days. By January of 2025, it was one of Netflix’s top five most-viewed English-language films, collecting over 149 million views. 

For anyone interested in a blend of suspense and action, this film is one you do not want to miss.
