Another Close Match For Boys and Girls Bowling

On Tuesday, January 7, Boys and Girls Bowling faced Grandview Heights. Both teams fell short of their opponent in close matches. The boys team was led, once again, by Craig E, who totaled 289 pins. Mark D. tallied 275 pins and Phinn B-M. added 271 pins to their score. Nathan M. knocked down 233 pins. Jon P. and Xander HV-R. scored 189 total. The Vikes added 229 more pins in the baker game, however fell short to the Bobcats 1486 pins to 1574. 

The girls bowling team’s intense match against Grandview Heights ended with the Vikes losing 1026 to 1064 pins. Morgan L. was the highest scorer for the Vikes with 188 pins. Kaito followed closely with 180, and Emma M. tallied 175. Sophie F. added 154 pins to the teams score, and Lynn Y. knocked down 144. The Vikes added 185 in the baker game.

The team’s next match is against Hilliard Davidson on Tuesday, January 14 at HP Lanes.
