On Thursday, December 12, the Aqua-Vikes welcomed Pickerington Central, Pickerington North, and Whetstone for its first matchup of the week. The Vikings crushed the Braves 103-28 but fell short to Pickerington Central and North 86-105 and 80-107, respectively. Academy capitalized individually despite the team’s losses. Olivia L. captured first in the 200-yd IM, Lillian B. placed first in the 50-yd free, and Madelyn E. took home gold in the 200-yd free. 

On Saturday, December 14, the girls hosted Gahanna Lincoln in hopes to redeem themselves. Unfortunately, the Vikes fell 75-95 to the Lions. Lillian B. recorded a record breaking time of 5:01.45 in the 500-yd free. 

Looking ahead, Academy will face Olentangy Orange on January 10,  at home.
