Winter sports are here, meaning Academy’s boys basketball will return to The Mack.
On Saturday, November 30, the Vikings will travel to take on the Dunbar Wolverines at 2:30 p.m. Dunbar held an impressive 13-11 record last season, considering some of their toughest opponents included Hilliard Bradley and Harvest Prep. Considering these factors, it’s obvious that Academy will be challenged in its season opener.
The Vikings open up at home vs. Bexley on Tuesday, December 10, at 7:30 p.m. Academy tamed the Lions in both matchups last season, giving them a season sweep and will look to do more of the same, starting in their home opener.
Only one senior graduated from the program last year, meaning all key contributors are returning. Combining this with a strong group of underclassmen will set the Vikings up for great success this season.
