Girls Soccer Finishes Regular Season With A Stellar Record

This past week Academy’s girls soccer team did not play any games due to postseason preparation. The Vikings received a first-round bye due to their superb record of 12-5. Academy finished third in the CBL, behind Bexley and Worthington Christian. The Vikings will face the winner of Heath and Highland on Hondros on Thursday the 17 at 7 p.m.

Seniors Haidi S. and Lily L. led the Vikings in scoring this year with 29 and 13 goals respectively. Haidi S. and Harper B-M. led the team in assists this year with 13 and 12 respectively. 

Academy’s record significantly improved from last year’s 8-10 record and 7th place finish in the CBL. This season marks the first time in three years Academy has been over .500 and its best record since 2019.
