Girls Soccer Trounces Wellington, Falls to Grandview

Academy’s girls soccer crushed Wellington in an offensive frenzy, tallying eleven goals on Monday, September 16, stellar on defense, holding the Jaguars scoreless. Haidi S. and Addison M. paved the way for the Vikings, each scoring a hat trick. Haidi S. also led the team with three assists.

On Wednesday, September 18, the Vikings returned home to face off against the Grandview Heights. The Bobcats came into the matchup at 5-1-1 and got off to a fast start offensively and didn’t look back. Grandview notched two goals past the Vikings defense, making it the first game of the season in which the Vikings didn’t score.

The Vikings will be back in action on Monday, September 23, hosting the Amanda-Clearcreek Aces at 6 p.m.

The Vikes will travel to Bexley to battle the Lions on Wednesday, September 25, at 7:15 p.m.
