The Vikings struggled in Newark last Saturday, September 14. The one-two-punch combination of injuries and the ACT standardized test knocked the Vikings down as a team.

Individually, Clara S. once again led the Vikings with 21:18 landing her in 26th place. Miranda B-Y followed her in 34th at 21:43. Sophie L. rounded out the top Academy runners in 43rd with 22:17. 

It wasn’t until seven minutes later at 29:10 that another Academy runner would cross the finish line in 169th. Indigo K., Stephanie L., and Marceline O. finished off the event for the Vikings.

The Vikings return to action earlier than usual on Wednesday, September 18, for its Senior Night, celebrating the Class of 2025.
