On Wednesday, September 4, boys golf traveled to Royal American Links to face Big Walnut. Both teams excelled, making the match close, but the Vikes fell two strokes behind the Eagles. Alex S. led with a 35, followed by Jaxon C.’s 40. Sarthak A. and Krish B. both earned a 41 while Jack W. and Daniel U. trailed behind, shooting 42 and 46, respectively. The bottom two scores were dropped for the Vikes. This resulted in Academy’s score of 157. 

The boys will travel to the Denison Golf Club to compete in the third CBL Invitational in hopes to redeem themselves. The match is on Thursday, September 12.
