Boys golf started off the week beating Westerville Central on Tuesday, August 27. The team racked up a score of 151, with Gavin M. leading the Vikes with a 35. Alex S. trailed three strokes behind with a 38. Sarthak A., Ethan B., and Krish B. each shot a 39 while Jaxon C. ended the day shooting 42.

The Vikings took this momentum into the Bob Darwin Invitational on Saturday, August 31. Academy placed in the top five, with a team score of 319. Gavin and Alex lead the team, both shooting 79. Jaxon and Ethan fell a few strokes behind, scoring a 80 and 81, respectively. Sarthak and Jack W. each shot an 83, so their scores were dropped and did not count in Academy’s final tallie. 

On Wednesday, September 4, the Vikes will travel to Royal American Links to face Big Walnut.
