On Monday, April 15, the Vikings welcomed Granville for the first showdown of the week. The Lady Aces struggled to keep up with the Maroon and Grey and ultimately fell 19-4.

Maintaining the home field advantage, Dublin Coffman traveled to Hondros to battle the Vikes on Thursday, April 18. Fighting against the Division 1 team, the Vikings lost 13-11.

Looking to bag two more wins before the week ended, the Vikings arrived at Academy on Saturday, April 20 at 5 a.m. to travel to Cleveland to play both St. Joseph’s and Hathaway Brown.

The first game kicked off at 9 a.m. at Hawken’s field against St. Joseph’s. The Vikes dominated and won the game 19-5.

To wrap up the day, the Vikings headed over to Hathaway Brown to face off against last year’s state runner-up. The Vikes never backed down, leaving the score after regulation 9-9, but the Blazers managed to win after a final goal, ending the game at 10-9.

The Maroon and Grey will return to action on Tuesday, April 23 at 7 p.m. on the road at Bishop Watterson.
