Boys basketball concluded its postseason run in a 60-47 loss to Worthington Christian in the District Finals, despite a 20-point outing by Jason S. It was the team’s second straight trip to the finals, finishing runners-up in both. This loss marks the end of an impressive season by the Vikes that saw them go 21-5, including first place at the Annual Briggs Tournament. They also finished second in the CBL

On the flip side, Worthington Christian captured its second district title since 2021, the year they finished second in the state. The Warriors also had a stellar regular season in which they went 22-4 and placed first in the CBL. They will now advance to the Regional Semi-Finals, where they play Margaretta at Bowling Green University on March 13.

Though the season didn’t end as they expected, the Vikes are poised for a strong 2025 season, as they will return all five starters.
