The girls basketball team ended its season at sectionals against Worthington Christian on Tuesday, February 20. 

The Warriors were up 7-11 in the first quarter, but the Vikes outscored them in the next two rounds. Sitting 18-19 at the half and 29-29 by the end of the third quarter, both teams had a shot at victory. But the Warriors’ strong showing in the final quarter (5-15) pulled them to a 34-44 win. 

Though the team had a rocky season, finishing 7-16 overall with a 30% win rate and sixth in the conference, several individuals received recognition: Congratulations to Kendall O. (1st Team all-CBL), Eleanor S. (2nd Team All-CBL), and Alison C. (Honorable Mention All-CBL).

The girls look toward a brighter future and more victories in the 2024-25 season!
