Boys Wrestling Places Last at CBL Tournament

Boys wrestling traveled to Bexley on Saturday, February 3 at 9:00 a.m. for the Central Buckeye League (CBL) Championship Wrestling Tournament, where six schools competed for the conference title. The Vikes ended the day in 6th place.

There were, however, many bright spots individually. In the 126-pound weight class, Neel R. placed 5th. In the 138-pound section, Tiago P. came in 4th. Henry S. got 5th in the 144-pound class, and James L. came 5th in the 165-pound division. Joseph D. had the highest finish, with a podium placement of 3rd in the 175-pound weight class.

Both of the girls wrestling matches were canceled for the week.

The boys host Johnstown-Monroe in the Barton room at 5:00 p.m. for their senior night on Wednesday, February 7.

The girls travel to Mount Gilead on Thursday, February 8, to compete at 6:00 p.m.
