Wrestlers Nina K. and Ceci R. competed in the 2024 Pioneer Classic at Olentangy Orange on Friday, January 12, and Saturday, January 13. Nina placed second in the 135-pound weight class, and Ceci came in third in the 105-pound section. Their placements come off the heels of their stellar performances at the January 5th Lennie Ball Wrestling Tournament, at which both girls came first in their respective weight classes.

The boys wrestling team traveled to Westerville South on Thursday, January 11, and hosted the Kevin Michael Invitational on Saturday, January 13. Facing Westerville South, the boys could not finish off the Wildcats, falling short by one point. At their Kevin Michael Invitational, the Vikes again struggled, placing second to last as a team. Bright spots include Parker K. receiving the home MVP award and a first finish in the 165-pound weight class. Akshaj J. placed fourth in the 138-pound section.

The boys travel to New Albany on Tuesday, January 16, at 6:00 p.m., and the girls head to Hamilton Township on January 26, at 4:30 p.m.
