Boys Basketball Keeps Rolling

Boys basketball continues to rack-up victories, going 6-1 since winter break started, including a victory in the annual Briggs Tournament. The Vikes are now 10-2 on the season and 3-1 in league play, which puts them in third place in the conference.

The team started the week strong, collecting a 53-50 victory over Horizon Science, led by sophomore Jason S, who scored 21 points to give the Vikings the edge in the contest.

Next up was Grandview Heights, who have struggled so far this year. The Vikes dismantled the Bobcats, beating them 57-18 to hand them their eighth loss of the season.

There was little time to celebrate this victory, as the Vikes were back in action the next day when they took on Olentangy Berlin. It was a close contest, but the Bears ultimately pulled away, beating Academy 52-46.

The Vikes take on Worthington Christian away on January 16 and Whitehall at home on the 20.
