Boys wrestling hosted Mifflin and Logan on Thursday, December 14 in the Barton Room at 5:00 p.m.

The Vikes acquitted themselves well, with Parker K. and Philip N. winning both of their matches in the 165 and 215 sections, respectively.  Akshaj J. lost his first match but managed to take his second one, going 1-1 in the 138-pound weight class. Ryan L. faced similar results in the heavyweight section, dropping his first then winning his second. Yet the Vikes could not overcome Logan although managing to come out on top over Mifflin. In addition, two wrestlers from the Ohio School for the Deaf competed, playing wrestlers from the three other schools, including Henry S. from Academy.

The following day on Friday, December 15, Parker K. traveled to Powell for the Olentangy Liberty Invitational at 4:00 p.m. He went 2-2, bringing his total record to 8-2 on the season.

The boys next big event is on January 6 at Marion Franklin for the Lennie Ball Wrestling Tournament at 10:00 a.m.

The girls travel to the Lutheran West Tournament on December 27 at 11:00 a.m.
