Beginning the postseason on Wednesday, October 18 at 6 p.m., the Vikings traveled to Marion Pleasant. Ranked 13th in division 3, the Vikes matched up against the 6th place seed in the first round of the districts. 

Looking to move on to the next round, the Vikings lost the battle for the first set 25-19. The Spartans captured the next two sets 25-15 and 25-17, earning them a 3-0 win over the Maroon and Grey. 

This loss marked the end of the season for the Spiking Vikings. The team wrapped up the year with an 11-12 record and it will miss its 9 seniors next season.
