Traveling for their second-to-last game of the regular season, the Vikes took on CSG on Tuesday, October 10 at 6 p.m. Dominating right out of the gate, the Vikings won the first set 25-10. Unable to rattle the Unicorns, the Maroon and Gray lost the next two sets 25-19 and 25-22, respectively. Not wanting to back down, the Vikings nabbed the fourth set 25-18 and evened up the scoreboard. In a final battle for the fifth set to 15 points, the Vikings came out victorious with a score of 15-10. The final score read 3-2 in favor of the Vikes. 

Hosting Buckeye Valley on Thursday, October 13 at 7 p.m., the Vikings concluded their regular season play. The Barons captured the first set 25-17 and the second 25-12. The Vikings could not stop the Barons, as Buckeye Valley secured the last set 25-22. The Barons swept the Vikings 3-0. 

The Spiking Vikings ended its regular season 11-11 and will play its first tournament game on Tuesday, October 17 at 6 p.m. at Marion Pleasant.
