Haunted Homecoming Returns in 2023

(Sean J./Staff)

At assembly on Monday, October 2, the sophomore homecoming committee played an eerie video, featuring a parody of the movie It. Editor Adam A. went all out on the visual effects that gave the video a monochromic, spooky look. This was the announcement for the 2023 Haunted Homecoming, which took place in the Dining Hall on Saturday, October 14. It is the second time CA has used a Halloween theme in the past five years, as Haunted Homecoming arrived in 2018.

Students congregated on the dance floor, empty of tables and chairs. Walls and ceilings had hanging streamers, ghosts, and spiders, and multi-colored lights strobed the area. Students could find water and snacks on a side table. The Break Room provided respite for those who wanted to relax or play chess. The DJ for the night blared music non-stop, encouraging students to dance with his repeated shouts into the microphone.

Thank you to the sophomore planning committee for the splendid night!
