On Sunday, September 23, Pickerington Central’s Tiger Invitational yielded Academy a girls 3rd place, a boys 4th place, and new personal records.

Melanie Q. led the girls in 4th with a season-best 21:10:53, followed by Sophie L. in 13th place with a personal record of 22:29.30. Claire D. and Marceline O. set new records of 23:35.02 and 32:43.27 and Indigo ran a season best of 29:39.03.Dane C. and Chris H. earned personal records of 17:11.59 and 17:49.47, bringing home 4th and 12th.

Other bests came from Elliot S. (17:51.84), Andy B. (17:51.84), Max B. (19:40.83), Giuseppe P. (19:48.34), Henry S. (20:18.64), Alester X. (23:02.61), Nate S. (23:35.59), Jacob B. (24:45.84), and Adam A. (30:44.09). Jason S.’s 20:45.83, Dorian B.’s 21:10.84, Graham A.’s 22:21.84, and Charlie S.’s 23:09.34 were their season’s top performances.Dane said, “I’m proud of the way I rebounded, considering I just came off an injury. To see the team perform record-breakingly well was a great bonus.”
