Last week, girls golf were one step closer to hoisting the Academy Hall flag with their win in sectionals and qualified for districts tournament.

At Blacklick Woods on September 25, the team captured an emphatic victory at sectionals with a first place score of 307, 19 strokes less than second place CSG. Junior Caroline Z. won medalist with a 71, freshman Eva L. tied for third shooting a 76, co-captain Angela H. collected a 77, fellow co-captain Sydney F. nailed a 83, and Ella T. finished with a 93.

All players qualified for districts at Darby Creek on October 2. Their Senior Night is on October 6 during the Worthington Christian football game to support Angela, Abbey Z., and Sydney!
