Boys golf qualified for districts with their third place performance in sectionals and will continue their postseason run even after coming up short in the Pickerington Central Fall Invitational.

On September 26, the team netted a score of 329 that landed them in third place, just enough to move on to districts. Jack W. led with 79, Gavin M. shot 81, Alex S. and Matthew F. scored a 85, and Ethan B. finished with 86.

The boys traveled to the Pickerington on September 30 and shot 330 and fell short of Olentangy Liberty’s first place score of 301. Matthew shot best with a 75, Jack followed with an 80, Ethan scored 85, Gavin hit 89, and Alex capped off the day with an 89.

The Vikes will have districts on October 4 at Turnberry and the Olentangy Liberty Invite on October 7 at Kinsale. Their Senior Night is October 6 during the Worthington Christian football gam to support senior captain Matthew!
