Volleyball Finishes Second Week Strong

Following split results from their first week, the Vikings volleyball team welcomed Fredericktown to The Mack on Monday, August 28, losing to the Freddies in a 3-0 match up. 

In its second home game of the week on Tuesday, August 29, Grandview Heights opened the match strong and captured the first two sets, 25-23 and 25-20. The third set was close, but the Vikings prevailed with a 26-24 total. The final two sets earned the Vikings their second win of the season with scores of 25-17 and 15-7. 

Closing out the week, the Vikings traveled to Worthington Christian on Thursday, August 31 and earned their 3rd win in another 5-set game and moved our girls to 3-2 for the season.

The team returns to action on Tuesday, September 5 at 6 p.m. as the Vikings host Whitehall.
