The tennis Vikings cruised through opponents last week, defeating Watterson and Whitehall at home on Wednesday, August 30, and Thursday, August 31, respectively.

CA captured a 5-0 flawless victory against Watterson, with Yasemin B. shutting out her opponent 6-0, 6-0 at second singles. Arya C. battled through to a 6-3, 6-4 triumph at first singles, and Tamanna A. achieved a near-perfect 6-1, 6-0 win at third singles. At first doubles, Grace P. and Gabrielle S. went 6-4, 6-4, while Malia C. and Sophie W. succeeded 6-1, 6-1 at second doubles.

The team crushed Whitehall on Thursday, leaving 6-0 sets strewn across the scoresheets. Gabrielle S., Audrey L., and Alina L. all went 6-0, 6-0 at first, second, and third singles, respectively. Mary P. and Sophie W. gathered another 6-0, 6-0 win at first doubles, while Charlotte B. and Lara W. were victorious 6-0, 6-1 at second doubles.

CA travels to Worthington Christian on Tuesday, September 5 to play at 4:30 p.m.
