Students, families, and guests gathered in the Dining Hall on May 6 for the annual Cabaret performance. The evening opened with the full choir, directed by Mr. Jenkins, singing Bill Withers’ “Lean on Me.” Henry W. and Morgan L. followed with their own soloist renditions of “Suspicious Minds” and “Can’t Help Falling in Love With You.” The tenor and bass sections joined together for “Black Bird” by the Beatles, and soloist Mia S. sang, “Journey to the Past.” Eleanor S. performed “My Church” as a solo act and “Brighter than the Sun” with Lydia W. Adi S. treated the audience with “Running’ Down a Dream,” and the soprano and alto sections rang out Whitney Houston’s iconic, “I Wanna Dance With Somebody.”

Toward the latter half of the evening, ACE treble belted out “Kaleidoscope Heart” as seniors Claire C., Vannika J., and Ethan K. had solos in “Homecoming Queen,” “It’s You,” and “Killing Me Softly With His Song,” respectively.

The senior girls delivered “Bella’s Mashup,” and the entire choir joined together for a rendition of Lin-Manuel Miranda and Ben Platt’s “Found/Tonight.”

Cabaret ended with  the seniors send-off of “Rivers and Roads.”
