Boys tennis delivered again this week with a 5-0 win against Dublin Coffman on April 26. Saagar A. dominated with two perfect 6-0 sweeps. The doubles of Nason L. and Rowen L. won in 6-3, 6-2 sets.

Away on April 29 at the Lakewood Racquet Club for the Lexington Tournament, the Vikes played seven other teams. The match ran in a round-robin style with players playing multiple opponents in each round and one singles flight and three doubles flights. The Vikes triumphed first overall thanks to strong performances across the team with Lucas X. placing second in the singles flight. For each of the doubles flights, Connor T., Cory W., and Ian C. won first place, Nason L. and Rowen L came in third, and Jacob K. and Saagar A. finished first. Each flight was an 8-person tournament with every team participating in one during the 9-hour long contest held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The team plays at Olentangy on May 1, hosts Worthington Christian for Senior Night on May 2, and plays at Upper Arlington on May 3.
