Boys tennis continued its season with a 2-1 record in this week’s action, improving to 11-2 overall. On April 18, the Vikes routed Buckeye Valley 5-0 with both singles and doubles winning every game—the second time this season. The team traveled to New Albany the next day and suffered its second loss of the season, 2-3. Lucas X. opened the match with a close 2-0 win, but Nason L. fell 7-6 in his second set.

The team bounced back on April 20 with a 5-0 win against Wellington. Lucas X. showed grit in a 3-hour long match, although he needed an injury timeout due to cramping before closing it out 6-3 in the third set. Nason L. played a perfect match, and Arvind R. and Yuvraj T. punctuated the victory with a 7-5 and 6-3 win.

The team will host Dublin Coffman on April 26 and Worthington Christian on April 27 before traveling to rival Bexley on April 29.
