April’s Common Hour Offers Poetry, Volleyball, Relaxation, and Therapy Dogs

The seniors’ final Common Hour took place on Wednesday, April 19. Students were offered a variety of activities that they could participate in. Ms. Frickel and Mr. Arndt offered a Test Taking Tips session in the library to help underclassmen.

Outside, students could attend the Poetry Slam, play volleyball, or just relax in one of the common spaces.

As always, the library was open for students to get work done or study.

An extremely popular option was offered again: spending time with a therapy dog! The dogs gathered around the school and got plenty of pets and attention.

Finally, students could collaborate with other students on group work or connect with the teachers to get extra help and practice.

Throughout the whole upper school, students were making good use of their time, regardless of their chosen activity.
