Academy’s orchestra performed its annual winter concert on February 15, 2023, directed by Mr. Greenwood and assistant lower school director, Dr. Lee. 

The concert began at 6:30 p.m. in the Schoedinger Theater, beginning with the Upper School Concert Orchestra’s “Wired” by L. Bernofsky, a piece with a high-tempo score that excited the audience, followed by an eerie-toned “Danse Infernale” by E. Del Borgo.

The Upper School Advanced Orchestra played Josef Suk’s “Serenade-Mvt.1” followed by Brian Balmages’s fiery and villainous “The Fire Within.”

Our lower school students ended the performance, as the upper schoolers players supported them from the stands.
