Girls Golf Serves Dinner for Service

(Ralph Schudel)

On Valentine’s Day Eva B., Sydney F., Eliza F., Angela H., and Grace L. will be away from the golf course to contribute to one of CA’s longest, ongoing service initiatives: Faith Mission. (Ralph Schudel)

Looking for an evening activity that bonds (up to six) teammates or club members while earning three service events? If so, on the second Tuesday of the month, follow the lead of the Girls Golf team and volunteer at Faith Mission, one of Central Ohio’s largest homeless shelters. These golfers are the first group in recent times to volunteer as a team!

After meeting in the Dining Hall at 5:15 p.m., they will load the trays that are prepared by our SAGE Dining Services staff onto a van. Ms. Hoagland and Mr. McCue will drive them downtown to unload and serve dinner.

Providing dinners to Faith Mission started as a quarterly event. But thanks to donors like the Galbreath Family, this service blossomed into a monthly tradition.

Consider becoming the next fortunate group who can spend two hours spreading joy to eighty Ohioans. Sign-ups are located near the Shack.
