Academy’s wrestling team competed in the Kevin Michael Tournament on Saturday, January 14 at home. Out of  11 teams, the Vikes placed 4th. Tiko B. and Parker K. placed 1st, followed by Ceci R. in 2nd, and Ryan L. and Philip N. coming in 3rd. 

The Vikings faced Liberty Union away on Wednesday, January 18. Tiko B. was the lone winner in one round as the Vikes fell 7-49.  

Rebounding from the loss, Nina K. and Ceci R. faced their opponenets at Ridgedale on Saturday, January 22. Ceci R. placed 2nd and Nina K. ranked 3rd. On the same day, the boys placed 11th at North Union, with Parker K. finishing 1st, and Philip N. placing 6th. 

The Vikes face Hamilton at home on Wednesday, January 25 aat 5:45 p.m.
