Honoring NATIVE AMERICAN HERITAGE MONTH

Our librarians new display new display features out books that celebrate Native American Heritage Month, introduced in 1990 by President George W. Bush in 1990 as a month dedicated to honoring indigenous lives. 

One of our librarians, Ms. N. identifies as indigenous and said, “I am glad this month represents Indigenous People’s heritage. It makes me feel like my culture is still here and not prehistoric and think about my ancestors and where I hope my kids will be in the future.”
