Throughout his 19 years of unmatched dedication to our school’s theater department, Mr. Scott Dillion, better known as “Dill” to his students, has created elaborate set designs and directed numerous shows including The Miracle Worker, 12 Angry Jurors, last year’s The Dining Room and this year’s show, Little Women.
His final show was no exception. On November 4-5, the cast took the stage, telling the story of the four March sisters as they grow up, find love, and discover their places in the world during the height of the Civil War.
All four impressive actresses embodied their roles as the March sisters. Lily T. shined as the independent and outspoken Jo, and Vaanika J. brought emotion to the role of Beth, the conscience of the family. Ella F. portrayed the maturity of the oldest sister, Meg as Grace H. depicted the ambitious and self-centered Amy with power–and whose intense screams and dramatic dialogue stole the show.
Other cast members included Ridah A., Amelia C., Colin H., Lucy I., Sean J., Aubree M., Carolina M. Santiago P., and Henry W.
Congratulations to the entire cast and crew for its fantastic performance, and especially to Mr. Dillon, on his memorable finale on Academy’s stage.
