Mob Psycho 100 is an anime (Japanese cartoon) about a young, awkward schoolboy named Mob with psychic powers and who must navigate the trials of growing up. The plot follows Mob as he works in an exorcism clinic, fighting evil spirits under the supervision of his boss and mentor, Reigen, a con artist who feigns psychic powers to run his business. Reigen takes advantage of Mob, whom he underpays, but he also cares for the boy and often gives him genuine advice. The two have adventures together battling evil spirits with Mob’s abilities, and the show introduces an extensive cast of supporting characters and enemies. 

The charm of the cartoon comes in the innocence of its protagonist. Mob believes in the philosophy that he should never use his powers to harm people, and the story supports morals of humility and kindness. The show also has stunning visual appeal, with color permeating every scene and smooth fast-paced action.

Mob Psycho 100’s third season began streaming Wednesday, October 5, andwill conclude the series.
