Desi Club, Academy’s South Asian student affinity group, performed its choreography to Kala Chashma and Mauja Hi Mauja for the traditional Hindu holiday Diwali on October 25. 

Leaders Vaanika J., Yuvraj T., and Shikhara V. presented facts about Diwali before the boys burst onto the stage. Soon after, the girls joined them and enraptured the upper school audience. Despite only practicing twice, their moves taught the school about the world of South Asian classical dance.
