Girls Volleyball Holds Annual Dig Pink

Academy volleyball started off its week with a 1-3 loss against Central Crossing on Monday, October 10. It won the first set of Dig Pink night 25-22, but lost the next three sets 17-25, 21-25, and 22-25 respectively.

Academy came back on Tuesday, October 11, with a 3-0 win against Columbus School for Girls. Our girls held the Unicorns below 20 in all three sets, winning 25-19, 25-17, and 25-17 respectively.

Academy had another match at home on Wednesday, October 12, losing 0-3 to Grandview Heights, losing its first set 16-25 and continued to fight hard, but ultimately lost the next two 21-25 and 22-25.

Worthington Christian beat the Vikings in its final regular season game on home turf on Thursday, October 13, with a score of 0-3. Academy lost by scores of 15-25, 13-25, and 21-25 respectively.

Its current record is 8-12. The team plays away against Madison-Plains on Tuesday, October 18, at 6 p.m.
