Serving at the Charlie David Dinner

Be part of this milestone tradition. (Courtesy/)PACA

To celebrate a 40th wedding anniversary, people like to present ruby-colored gifts to the honored couple. To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Charlie David Dinner, you could bring your helping hands to this tailgating tradition before our home varsity football game against Bexley.

If you have time after school this Friday, October 13, and would like to earn in-school service hours, consider setting up, cleaning up, or subbing at one of the activities stationed on the Charlie David Dinner Boardwalk. The 12 booths manned by US student club members will be housed on the blacktop near the Dining Hall (or Jones Gym if rain occurs). Some of the fun options include jousting and the donut on a string game.

If you can volunteer for at least one hour from 3:30-7:30 p.m., please sign up on the CDDinner sheet located on the cupboard doors next to the SHACK.

We hope you can show your school spirit by participating in this CA parent sponsored event whose proceeds support 66 middle and upper school sports teams. Go Vikes!
