Recycling: a tradition for students in all grades (Courtesy/Lia H.)
This year’s Service Board has its largest numbers ever, with 125 members ready to serve meals at Faith Mission and then slumbering in the gym after sorting donations during the Sleep Out. Both activities were suspended for two years due to Covid.
Another innovation is the new Service Board’s Instagram account (@caserviceboard). Through this account, Service hopes to share events and sign ups to make it easier for all students (members and non-members) to volunteer.
This year’s SB goal is to increase student engagement. With opportunities like Service Day, Apple Picking, and the Charlie David Dinner, it would be hard not to support SB.
“It’s a great way to become more involved with the school and understand the importance of giving back to your community, no matter the size.” (Lia H.)
