The Vikings raced out to a 14-0 lead in the first quarter of play against Fort Loramie on Friday, September 30 before Fort Loramie scored on a 4th and 8 to cut the Vikes’ lead to 7.
After both defenses got a stop to start the second half, Fort Loramie scored a 16-yard touchdown to tie the game. Following two consecutive Viking bad snaps, Fort Loramie got the ball on the Viking 31, and they scored a rushing touchdown to take a 21-14 lead. On the Viking’s final drive, they made it to the Loramie 12 but were stopped on 4th and goal.
The Viking’s next game will be away at Grandview Heights on Friday, October 7, at 7 pm.
