 Girls Lacrosse Nets Two Wins

(Sofia S. Vaanika J/Media)

After its defeat on April 9 against Indian Hills, the girls lacrosse team impoved its defensive communication and transitions to dominate in an 18-3 victory against Granville on Tuesday, April 12. Ava H said, “We all trusted each other and worked together, which seemed to help us a lot.”

On Thursday, April 14, the girls achieved a 14-9 victory over Hayes with an 11-2 finish at the half. Always trying to improve, the team made the strategic decision to switch up positions: defenders played attack and vice versa. These switches gave Hayes more shots, bringing the score to 13-9.  When the Vikes puts their starters back in with a few minutes left, they scored another goal.

With a 4-1 record, the girls face Welllington at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19, on Hondros.
