Boys Bowling Comes Up Short in Sectionals

On Friday, February 18, the Columbus Academy boys varsity bowling team competed in OHSAA’s Division 2 sectionals at HP Lanes. Twenty-seven schools competed, with each competitor playing 3 regulation games and each team playing 6 baker teams. 

Craig E. led with 479 in regulation, followed by Zecheriah K., Jacob M., and Ryan R. with 390, 463, and 426 points, respectively Kian J. had 220 with two games and Colin H. had 103 with one.

The team’s regulation total was 2081, and its baker total was 770. The team did not make any of the top 12 tops spots. Returning players are looking forward to next year’s season.
